Overview

Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), a progressive IT company, is seeking motivated IT professionals to help us form a talented team in support of the Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) IT Support Services Program in Silver Spring, MD.

 

This particular position is Program Manager, a Key Position. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of our DCoE PH/TBI Team upon contract award.    

Responsibilities

 Responsibilities:

  • Supervises a team of technical staff members consisting of Communications Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Help Desk Specialists, Information Assurance Specialists, Configuration Management Specialists, Enterprise Architects, SharePoint Developers, Database Administrators, Network Specialists, Systems Engineers, Applications Systems Analysts, Web Designers, Web Content Developers, Training Specialists, and Business Systems Analysts.    
  • Serves as the Task Order Lead and performs the following duties in this capacity:
    • Directly manages the contractor staff and provides task assignments to the team and coordinates program review meetings   
    • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization
    • Manages a master project schedule
    • Provides monthly accounting of the work order expenditures
    • Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs
    • Reviews and approves all contract deliverables and work products
    • Directs the delivery of technical services and ensures timeliness and quality of all services and work products
    • Ensures that all teams are staffed adequately and appropriately with qualified personnel
    • Identifies, prioritizes, and mitigates all program risks
    • Performs technical scope assessments and resource estimates
    • Continually improves program and process efficiencies and effectiveness
    • Provides a Monthly Status Report  
    • Implements a robust Quality Assurance program
    • Develops a Program Management Plan

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, math, computer science, or systems engineering
  • 10+ years of hands-on IT experience
  • Proficiency in managing large teams in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • PMP-certified
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I certified

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITILv3 certified
  • Earned Value Management
  • Microsoft Project
  • Experience across all phases of IT support 

Desired Experience in:

  • Medical IT experience, in general, and DCoE experience, in particular
  • Demonstrated capabilities in: Systems/Database/Network Administration, VTC Support, Systems/Software Development, Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Support, Windows/UNIX Platforms, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Mobile Computing, and Configuration/Asset Management  

Required Clearance: National Agency Background Check; Defense Health Agency Clearable
