The DISN PMO Application Services and Ancillary Support Program Manager (PM) will provide the full range of Program Management support for the DISA Infrastructure Directorate’s (IE’s) requirement for Defense Information System Network (DISN) Program Management Office (PMO) Application Services and Ancillary Support at Fort Meade, MD


  • Manages all activities for a team consisting of IT analysts, acquisition and program management specialists, finance and budgeting subject matter experts, change management and technical refresh specialists, enterprise architects, and network engineers
  • Develops and maintains a Task Order Management Plan
  • Serves as the primary interface with the customer and exercises full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters related to daily operations
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates program risks
  • Performs task planning, resource management, budgeting/costing, task scheduling, risk management, security management, and strategic planning  
  • Directs the delivery of technical services and ensures timeliness and quality of all services, work products, and contract deliverables
  • Implements a robust Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Continually improves program and process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Provides periodic status reports 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI
  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, math, computer science
  • PMP-certified
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified - one of the following certifications: Security+, SSCP or CCNA-Security
  • 10+ years of acquisition/program management experience in general
  • 5+ years of direct DISA program management experience
  • Proficiency with the DoD Requirements Process; Program, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) System; DoDI 5000.02 Defense Acquisition System Processes; and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) strategies (Lean Six, SWAT Analysis, etc.)
  • U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Network+ Certification
  • DAWIA Level III-certified
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Experience in:

  • Working in DoD network environments such as JWICS, NIPRNet, and SIPRNet
  • Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
