Overview

As part of a cross-functional team of IT and Systems engineers, provide essential IT and Multimedia support services to existing and emergent DISA Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC) mission requirements, technologies, and its worldwide customer base from its primary location at the Pentagon and its secondary location at Raven Rock Mountain Complex, PA. 

Responsibilities

  • Provides inventory management and hardware maintenance of identified clients, servers and printers.
  • Tracks the warranty periods for all equipment and reports status to the Government.
  • Monitors the up/down status of networked items and reports when an item is down for action to be taken. 

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications: 

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance Required
  • 10 years' experience with an IT BS or 8 years with an IT Masters, or 15 years IT related experience without a degree 
  • IAT Level II certified in one of the following; GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security
  • Has expert knowledge of IT equipment supporting a Windows operating environment to be able to repair and replace equipment and perform preventative maintenance
  • Proficient in inventory management methodologies 

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Windows, Unix, and Linux Systems Administration experience and/or certifications
  • Mass Storage Administration  experience and/or certification
  • Network Administration skills in both Cisco and Juniper environments 
  • Experience in asset management and configuration management
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting network, server, client, and peripheral hardware and coordinating hardware repair, installation, and testing activities
  • Capable of managing hardware End-of-Life issues, vendor warranties, vendor repair actions, and hardware maintenance activities
