Overview

Team supports the Army Analytics Group (AAG) Data Frameworks Initiative activities that provide innovative applications and data integration across the enterprise.  AAG provides problem solving capabilities that involve massive enterprise data integration and analysis coupled with the most advanced information technology (IT) solutions.  Our program team will support AAG through a series of projects which configure existing solutions to network people, data, and tools to fix problems and advance capabilities.

Managed applications support sensitive projects requiring secure portals and work-flow configurations.  These projects involve mapping work processing, identification of Authorities Data Sources (ADS), transformation and de-identification procedures of interface data, analysis of data and business rules using emergency statistical tools, and providing written reports for recommendations to changes in business processes as well as data processing procedures.

Responsibilities

Candidate will join team of professionals responsible for post-production software support services that maintain software applications functionality and operations providing critical military health analysis systems.  Support to be supplied includes:

  • WEBSERVICE DEVELOPMENT:  Needs to have a good understanding of Windows Communications Foundation (WCF), Simple Object Adapter Protocol (SOAP), Representational State Transfer (RESTful), encryption and X509-certificate APIs for secure web service design and C#-based implementation. The goal is to have a candidate work with external development groups in building host service APIs for data-pulls, patient scheduling and survey-ordering within the application. Doing this also requires development of content for system interface agreements (SIAs) with external groups.
  • HTML MOCKUP DEVELOPMENT: Needs to be an expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience in C# and database development is also required. This includes XHTML 1.0 for older-browser support and HTML5 for graphics support within newer browsers. The goal is to have someone build survey-mockups for care community approval before implementation. Once approved, the survey mockups are then implemented within the application and added to the survey repository. This requires a good understanding of C#, Oracle packages and build scripts.
  • WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT:  Needs to have a good understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (XHTML1.0 and HTML5), C#, stored-procedure calls. The goal is to have someone develop  webform-less, ajax-centric web pages within the WIIR and CAST applications.  This requires knowledge of web-technologies, JavaScript object notation (JSON), "[WebMethod]" calls, data access layers and Oracle stored procedure calls. Development also requires code analysis and adherence to DoD-prescribed security standards.
