  • Overview

    EIS is seeking a Mid IA Analyst to support for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). This position is located at the NMIC in Washingon, D.C. (Metro accessible).

    Responsibilities

    The Mid IA Analyst will support continuous Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (VA), risk assessment and remediation activities.  Analysis of network traffic packet captures, network and host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention data.  Support the identification and classification of attack vectors, malware, IDS/IPS rule writing development.  Support design, development, integration, securing, operations and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architectures and technologies.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • Associate or Bachelor Degree from accredited University in IT, IA or related field, or military training per SECNAV M-5239.2, or certifications 4-6 Years of C&A experience with 3-5 years with concentrated discipline with DoDI 8500.01E, CJCS Instruction 6510.01, CJCSM 6510.01, DoD Instruction O-8530, and SECNAVINST 5239.3B desired.
    • Experience with DoD Directive 8500.01E CJCS Instruction 6510.01, CJCSM 6510.01, DoD Instruction O-8530, and SECNAVINST 5239.3B desired.
    • Experienced with CND disciplines within the DoD Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) or Commander 10th Fleet (NCDOC and Navy Network Warfare Command), or DoDIIS.
    • Experienced with IC tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms and requirements for CND; Knowledgeable of the DoD, IC, and national level system security initiative and Local Area Network (LAN)/Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
    • Knowledge and experience in eMass and Xacta Accreditation processes and programs.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Exemplary results-oriented interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Three years of experience in continuous Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (VA), risk assessment and remediation activities.
    • Three years of experience analyzing network traffic packet captures, network and host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention data.
    • Three years of experience in Computer Network Defense (CND) and Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), and Computer Network Attack Tools and techniques.
    • Knowledge of identifying and classifying attack vectors, malware, IDS/IPS rule writing development.
    • Three years of experience in the design, development, integration, securing, operations and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architectures and technologies.

    Certifications:

    • Must possess one of the following industry certifications: CCNA or CAP or Security + (CE); or for Systems Security Management/Analysis (46): CASP or CAP or Security+ or SSCP  . 

    Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI required
