The Data Entry / Image Processing Operator provides image processing operations in support of the Government Client Department of Labor.  The work day is an 8 hour shift with start time of 8am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. First  shift only.  The hourly wage it $14.22 plus benefits.


  • Perform data entry using alpha/numeric keys
  • Input data from imaged documents utilizing dual monitors

  • Accurately enters data from a variety of sources
  • Performs the more complex assignments requiring selection, coding, and interpretation of data
  • Reviews and inspects work to assure compliance with job instructions, layouts, and other procedural instructions
  • Ensures quality control of completed jobs
  • Instructs new employees in data entry techniques
  • Advises supervisor of scheduling and production problems
  • Notifies supervisor of problems requiring servicing vendor attention
  • Performs record keeping of work performed
  • Preparation, Scanning, and Quality Control of all documents as required
  • Performs related duties as assigned to best serve the Customer



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • US Citizenship
  • Able to pass a government background check and hold a public trust clearance
  • Working knowledge of IS machine (PC, imaging, computers, etc.) operation, practices, and procedures
  • Completed a data entry operator course involving use of a computer terminal screen and demonstrates high speed, accurate typing capabilities or 1+ years of work experience as a data entry operator which includes: routine and repetitive tasks;  following specific procedures or detailed instructions, working from various standardized source documents which have been coded and require little or no selecting, coding or interpreting of data to be entered; erroneous items, codes, or missing information
  • This job requires the ability to operate a computer keyboard, distinguish colors on a color monitor
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds from packing cartons onto a desk
  • Basic office skills are required.  Examples of this include telephone usage, working a copier, basic written and verbal communication
  • Candidate must be proficient in communication in the English language (read/write)
