  • Overview

    This position will be part of a support team providing Data Center support services for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Operations Systems Center (OSC) located in Kearneysville, WV. Reports to the Program Manager and plans and executes tasking and supervises activities of several subordinates in defined area of responsibility.

    Responsibilities

    The position will plan, supervise and execute tasks in the following areas of responsibility:

    • Configuration Management: Provide support for the configuration management of the Classified Data Center including POA&M tracking, IAVA/IAVB tracking, vulnerability tracking.
    • Asset Management: Provide asset/property administration management support of the Classified Data Center.
    • Device Rack Management: Support in the racking (install, cabling, test, move or de-install, troubleshoot) of IT devices in the Classified Data Center.
    • Network Cable Plant Management: Support in provisioning network connections for the IT devices in the Classified Data Center.
    • Documentation: Document all configuration items for the Classified Data Center.
    • Classified User Administration: Provide user administration support for those personnel that require access to the SIPRNet.
    • Crypto Equipment Support: Provide technical support of TACLANE and KIV7m Crypto equipment support.
    • Classified Space Management: Provide classified space management support.
    • Classified Material Destruction: Provide classified material destruction support IAW NSA/CSS Policy Manual 9-12 NSA/SCC Storage Device Sanitization Manual.

    Qualifications

    • Seven (7) or more years of experience directly relevant to areas of responsibilities described for the position.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently plan, organize, execute, and supervise task completion by less experienced personnel.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Business or related area (two years of additional, directly relevant experience/relevant industry certifications may be substituted for the degree.)
    • Crypto tool Certification a plus.
    • DoDi 8570 IA Certification required (CompTIA Security+) required.
    • Top Secret Clearance required.
    • Must be able to pass DHS - USCG Background Investigation and Suitability Determination.
