    Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), a leading mid-tier Information Technology (IT) company, is seeking a motivated IT professional to join our team at the U.S. Army's National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) in Charlottesville, VA in support of the Combat Incident Database (CIDB) and Joint Trauma Analysis for the Prevention of Injury in Combat Database (JTAPICDB) (CJDB) Program led by Alliant Enterprise Joint Venture (AEJV). The successful candidate will perform as the Documentation and Information Assurance Specialist on our highly integrated team in a professionally challenging and rewarding environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Contributes to the development of all written deliverables in support of all tasks, including Program Management, Application Operations and Maintenance, Application Enhancement, Requirements Management, and Information Assurance.  
    • Reviews tool tip text in coordination with the Requirements Manager and functional representatives.
    • Assists in maintaining CJDB system certification and accreditation by ensuring compliance with all DISA STIG requirements and other DoD and Army Information Assurance governance standards and by supporting the remediation of system scan findings
    • Generates Daily Applications Metrics Report on a monthly basis
    • Identifies user needs, use cases, and metrics to focus priorities
    • Monitors discussion forums and questions to identify any answers that require documentation
    • Performs all other duties as requested or assigned by the Program Manager or Technical Lead
    • Assists with managing a master project schedule
    • Assists with identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating all program risks

    Qualifications

    Required Clearance:

    • Active Top Secret/SCI

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Arts degree related to Technical Writing from a 4-year college
    • 8+ years of technical writing experience
    • Working knowledge of the Requirements Management process
    • Proficiency in multi-media design
    • Outstanding documentation development skills
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • The training and certifications required by DoD to obtain DoD 8570.01-M IAT-I or IAM-I (Army AR25-2) certification, including either Security+ CE or CISSP, within 1 month of appointment

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to provide basic Information Technology development support
    • Capable of using JIRA and Confluence and other Agile Development tools such as GIT, Fisheye/Crucible, Jenkins, and Redmine
    • Working knowledge of Configuration Management techniques
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Technical expertise to assist and complement Database Specialists and Software Developers

    Desired Experience in:

    • NGIC experience, in general, and CIDB and JTAPICDB database experience, in particular
    • Knowledgeable of the NGIC Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), related DoD software development processes and best practices, and associated documentation
