  • Overview

    The USCG Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Project Office requires engineering, technical and program management support for the CG-9335 Program Office to execute its respective management, collaboration, and oversight responsibilities. This position will provide support to perform engineering, technical research, analysis, and program management support to aid in the design and development of Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems for surface and shore-based assets including Polar Ice Breaker (PIB).

     

    Responsibilities

    Provide DoDAF/Systems Architect, engineering, technical and program management support to the Coast Guard CG-9335 SCIF Project Lead and CG-9335 PM/Engineering Lead for Coast Guard’s Shipboard and Shore-side Intelligence Systems (i.e. Tactical Cryptologic System) and other C5I (Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence) systems (e.g. Interior/Exterior communications systems, Command and Control etc.) in accordance with the guidance, practices and policies set forth in the Major System Acquisition Manual (MSAM) COMDTINST M5000.10 (series), Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC).

     

    Provide C5ISR engineering, technical support and program management support to the Coast Guard CG-9335 PM/ Engineering lead for Polar Ice Breaker’s before-delivery and after-delivery C4ISR systems in accordance with the guidance, practices and policies set forth in the Major System Acquisition Manual (MSAM) COMDTINST M5000.10 (series), Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC).

    Qualifications

    • Earned Bachelor’s of Science degree
    • Experience with IBM/Unicom Systems Architect
    • Knowledge of DODAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework)
    • At least ten (10) years of knowledge and experience in systems engineering
    • At least five (5) years of knowledge and experience in the design and integration of C4ISR and C5ISR systems including intelligence systems.
    • A SECRET clearance (minimum)
