  • Overview

    Enterprise Information Services (EIS) is currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert 3 for a Network Support program located in Charleston, SC. EIS is a leading mid-tier solutions integrator providing Systems Engineering, Information Technology, and Program Management Office (PMO) services and solutions to the Federal Government for more than 20 years. EIS employs more than 400 professionals in 40 locations in over 25 states and OCONUS.

    Responsibilities

    Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one of three capabilities areas: Enterprise Core Services support; Enterprise Network Infrastructure Support; or Enterprise Network Security Support.

    Qualifications

    Clearance Required: Secret with SSBI (Tier 5) background investigation.

    Experience: Provide experience in one “capability” and two “experience” areas as noted below:

    • Capability Areas: Five years (5) of hands on experience with one of the following capabilities:
      1. Enterprise Core Services support: The candidate will provide engineering, functional and technical expertise in support of unclassified and classified RDT&E enterprise Microsoft, VMware, DAR, backup solutions and products. Systems will range from end user workstation, server platforms to database systems operating in a distributed or standalone environment.
      2. Enterprise Network Infrastructure Support: The candidate will have sufficient knowledge and understanding to support the Network Infrastructure. Network Engineering support in engineering, functional and technical expertise in support of unclassified and classified RDT&E enterprise networking technologies. Systems will range from end user workstation and server platforms operating in a distributed or standalone environment.
      3. Enterprise Network Security Support: The candidate will have sufficient knowledge and understanding to support the Network Security Team. Network Security support in engineering, operations, analysis, functional and technical expertise in support of unclassified and classified RDT&E enterprise cyber security technologies. Systems will range from end user workstation, server platforms and devices operating in a distributed or standalone environment.

    Experience Areas: Three (3) of the following six (6) areas: Software requirements; Operational requirements; Installation; Test and evaluation, Advanced system architecture; or Training. Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following areas:

    • Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
    • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
    • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of DOD military specifications and standards.
    • System design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations.
    • Hardware and software Evaluation
    • Application and System Assessments, planning execution and management.
    • System requirements planning and oversight.
    • Technical development product milestone scheduling.
    • Installation and configuration of hardware and software capabilities.
    • Demonstrated experience of deploying 3000+ user virtual desktop infrastructure

    Education: Technical Training in the field directly relevant to the candidates “capability” and “experience” areas discussed above.

    Certifications:

    • 8570 IAT II Certification (e.g. Security+, GSEC, SSCP or CCNA-Security)
    • Certification in at least one the following: (a) Routing/Switching/Networking for Juniper or Cisco, (b) OS for Windows or Linux Variant, (c) VMWare, (d) Firewalls (e) MS SQL, (f) Active Directory, or (g) SPLUNK, (h) VMware Horizon.
