  • Overview

    Provide project management and program integration support services to the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Cutter Forces such as facilitate and support integrated product teams that will deliver standardized requirements documents for use in guiding initial mission analyses; determine capability gaps; develop effective, efficient and executable requirements; and provide data to support resource-informed prioritization decisions. Also, Provide analysis, coordinate stakeholder engagements within USCG HQ and provide administrative support for the development and management of the requirements generation process.




    Povide a full range of Project Management and Program Integration Support Services to USCG.

    Provide subject matter expertise and act as a consultant to the Sponsor in the development of requirements documents for surface-based forces to include, but not limited to: Capability Analysis Reports (CAR), Mission Need Statements (MNS), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Preliminary Operational Requirements Document (P-ORD), Operational Requirements Document (ORD), and Required Operating Capability and Projected Operational Environment (ROC/POE). As an integrated product team (IPT) facilitator for major surface acquisitions, facilitate the review and assist in the timely adjudication of feedback from subject matter experts.

    Review, analyze and follow-up to resolve discrepancies between competing stakeholders and IPT members.

    Provide consulting services and subject matter expertise to USCG on active IPTs and document development. Process and track reports as they are routed through the approval process and manage all SharePoint functions associated with surface requirements development.


    • BS Degree
    • Documented project management experience of similar size, scope, and complexity or an accredited Project Manager Certification.
    • Documented experience performing IMS on multi-million dollar acquisition efforts.
    • At least twelve months experience as an IMS scheduler for major projects.
    • Microsoft Project Expertise using IMS functionality.
    • Experience in acquisition processes.
    • Shall be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • One year technical writing experience.
    • Ability to prepare correspondence, operate a copy machine, scanner, camera, and maintain a filing system.
    • At least one year experience working on command staff or civilian equivalent.
    • At least five years experience in shipboard operations.
    • Experience with strategic document management.
