Provide technical support services for the USCG Office of Aviation Acquisition, including the Assistant Program Executive Officer (APEO) for Aviation Programs and individual aviation acquisition programs. This work will include support for integrated logistics, security management, manufacturing, and systems engineering and is broken down into three support areas as listed below:
• Assistant Program Executive Officer for Aviation Support
• Long Range Surveillance (LRS) Support
• Medium Range Surveillance (MRS) Support
Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the LRS Program, to include planning, scheduling, coordinating and estimating complex tasks associated with products or services (e.g., design, development, acquisition and maintenance) required to ensure that the C-130 aircraft, mission system, and associated equipment achieve the required readiness and sustainability posture at an affordable life cycle cost.
Develop/ensure requirements and implementation strategies comply with USCG logistics directives and supportability parameters.
Perform and coordinate detailed analysis to ensure integration support considerations into the planning and/or design process.
Evaluate logistics deliverables for technical adequacy.
Support development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements and associated procurements for C-130 logistics materials and/or services.
2+ years' experience in a C-130 depot-level maintenance environment
2+ years' experience in Coast Guard (CG) procedures (CG aeronautical practices as defined in Commandant Instruction Manual CIM 13020.1 (series), utilizing FedLog, Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS), Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS), and Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS)).
Five years experience is preferred.
