  • Overview

    Provide technical support services for the USCG Office of Aviation Acquisition, including the Assistant Program Executive Officer (APEO) for Aviation Programs and individual aviation acquisition programs. This work will include support for integrated logistics, security management, manufacturing, and systems engineering and is broken down into three support areas as listed below:

    • Assistant Program Executive Officer for Aviation Support

    • Long Range Surveillance (LRS) Support

    • Medium Range Surveillance (MRS) Support

     

    Responsibilities

    Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the Minotaur Mission System Integration Lab (MSIL) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD which includes planning, scheduling, coordinating, and estimating complex tasks associated with products or services (e.g., design, development, acquisition, and maintenance) required to ensure that systems and equipment achieve the required readiness and sustainability posture at an affordable life cycle cost.

    Provide integrated logistics support to the uUSCG tech lead and Minotaur lab manger as directed. Support includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) manage and track parts, supply, and spares for MSIL and aircraft; (2) maintain MSIL budget and track supply lifecycle costs; (3) support scheduling and facilitation of logistics meetings; (4) draft status reports for ongoing MSIL activities and projects; (5) complete and track maintenance and repair reports including maintenance tracking cards; (6) update firmware and software on authorizied software list; and (7) support logistics for Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.

    Assist in the management of MSIL inventory and supplies which includes coordinating with contracting to procure new equipment and supplies, inspecting incoming and outgoing materials for defects and quality, entering new parts into USCG systems, tracking and managing inventories of new parts, and providing status reports and inventory audits as directed.

    Manage storage facilities and containers for equipment and coordinate hazardous material movement and disposal.

    Manage the lab’s Electronic Key Management System (EKMS), security posture, including loading, storage, tracking, and deletion of EKMS.

    Manage Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet)/Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) access and hardware for the MSIL.

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    BA/BS Degree

    Top Secret Clearance

    2+ years' experience in ILS and security management;

    4+ years experience and experience with configuration management or supply chain management
