  • Overview

    Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), as the Managing Member of RS3JV, LLC, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Systems Administrator (SA) to support all SA activities for our Afghanistan Automated Biometric Identification System (AABIS) and Iraq Automated Biometric Identification System (IABIS) program located in Fairmont, WV.     Responsibilities

    • Provides UNIX and Windows systems administration services in an unclassified network environment
    • Monitors and tunes server and network performance
    • Supports UNIX and Windows-hosted software application enhancement activities
    • Installs and configures operating system software and applications software
    • Performs diagnostics when necessary on servers, individual workstations, and the network fileserver
    • Isolates and resolves complex software problems involving the application, the operating system, the hardware, and the communications infrastructure

    • Maintains various databases running on UNIX platforms, such as Oracle and Sybase

    • Performs system user administration functions 

    • Supports all aspects of hosted software life cycle development, including requirements definition, design, code, debugging, verification and test, and maintenance of software modules 

    • Configures servers to support software development, build, and test activities

    • Supports Information Assurance compliance and system/network Authority-to-Operate activities within the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    • Supports periodic system backups
    • Creates scripts and report queries

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in an IT-related field
    • 1-4 years of systems administration experience
    • RHEL 7 certified
    • IAT Level II certified with one of the following; GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security 
    • Proficient with UNIX and Windows systems administration

     Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certified
    • Working knowledge of Oracle and Sybase databases
    • Excellent team player and communications skills 
    • Proven ability to provide customer satisfaction

    Required Clearance: Favorable DoD NACI Background Check and US Citizenship
