Overview

Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), as the Managing Member of the ITES Solutions, LLC Joint Venture, is seeking a highly motivated Intelligence Enterprise Storage and Virtualization Architect to support all activities for our potential Command, Control,and Infrastructure Operations (C2IO) program for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) headquartered out of Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities

Executes Architectural Design Sessions with customers to help them develop an approach and strategy around their virtualization and Cloud Computing needs. Provides guidance and recommendations on current VDI infrastructure and growth potential. Provides Technical and Delivery leadership on virtualization projects involving Virtualization or Private Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure). Monitors daily software builds and resolves problems as needed. Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts and groups per request. Grants and removes access to server and related resources. Performs in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis while working with developers to identify problems and resolutions with in-house and over the counter software applications. Configures and administrates VMware and Windows Server operating systems. Applies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities. Configures/adds new services as necessary. Upgrades and configures system software per project and/or operational needs. Maintain osperational, configuration, or other procedures. Maintains data center environmental and monitoring equipment. Prepares basic reports and presentations as requested or necessary within the IT team. Recommends program/project release schedules based on knowledge of software development life cycle; delivers functionality and ensures the integrity of the overall system. Performs document reviews to ensure effective and appropriate environment changes and demonstrates ability to escalate needs when necessary. Deploys and maintains a multi-server, environments including: VMware cluster(s), Windows Server 2008 /2012 R2 and UNIX/LINUX platforms. Participates in identifying business requirements. Ensures delivered solutions meet performance expectations. Recommends program/project release schedules based on knowledge of software development life cycle. Delivers functionality and ensures the integrity of the overall system.

Qualifications

Clearance and Minimum Qualifications  

  • Active DoD TS clearance with eligibility for SCI with Special Background Investigation and be able to attain SI, TK, G, and HCS access
  • Five (5) years of senior storage administrator experience within the last twelve (12) years; minimum of three (3) years of experience with VMware vSphere within the last seven (7) years; minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and implementing storage systems within the last seven (7) years; current certification in at least one (1) storage platform; and current certification in VMware vSphere.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DAWIA Program Management Level IV
