Enterprise Information Services, LLC (EIS), a Cognosante company, is seeking a highly motivated Service Desk Analyst to support the MARC2 Service Desk for Naval Information Warfare Centers (NIWC) in Norfolk, VA. This position supports Maritime C2 (MARC2) applications with the goal of first contact resolution.


Provide Tier 1 support in a service desk environment in support of Navy Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS) and Maritime C2 (MARC2) Applications with the goal of first contact resolution. Field email requests and web-submissions, collecting and documenting incidents and service requests with pertinent data, as well as escalating tickets to appropriate groups when necessary. Log and prioritize calls into the call management system in accordance with Service Level Agreements.


  •  Active Secret Clearance required
  • Skilled in Afloat support experience in GCCS or other MARC2 systems such as TBMCS, JADOCS, CANES, ISNS, ADNS and be familiar with Remedy.
  • All positions require Security +, and working towards completing the DoD Manual 8570.01 IAT-II (Windows / Unix) certification requirements.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve problem issues. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Work effectively with little instruction on day-to-day tasks and general instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Ability to effectively interact and maintain professionalism with customers at all levels via phone and email.
  • Must be able to work autonomously as well as being a team player
  • Familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Previous Help Desk/Call Center experience preferred. HDI certification a plus.
  • Clear thinker with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills/Experience:
