Enterprise Information Services, LLC (EIS), a Cognosante company, is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist (SMS) for our potential Transforming All-Source Analysis with Location-Based Object Services (TALOS) program supporting the customer in Northern Virginia and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).
The SME Data Scientist provides expert-level research in advanced levels of information science and data science to exploit, develop, and implement new computer hardware and software capabilities that support DIA and IC mission requirements; captains the data science team and works within integrated project teams of data scientists, developers, operators, and users/analysts to solve complex data analysis problems; builds, tests, experiments, and deploys ML models and algorithms; builds visualizations to assess the results of models and to perform complex data analysis; has excellent communication skills(written and verbal), understanding of machine learning techniques and technologies (e.g. TensorFlow, Spark, Jupyter, Cloud ML Services), scripting language expertise (i.e. R, Python, Scala), and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL.
Experience: at least 7 years leading development and implementation of high-volume data analytics, modeling, and simulation solutions supporting tradecraft and critical national security objectives. Broad knowledge of ML tools and experience manipulating data to support machine learning. Experience leading cross-functional technology teams. Significant DIA/military intelligence domain knowledge and expertise in discrete event and continuous simulation for operations modeling.
