Enterprise Information Services, LLC, a Cognosante Company, is seeking a solution architect to provide technical leadership and support of the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will also support the areas of development process improvement, best practice analysis and enforcement, IT planning, solution specification/design, and target architecture development. The well qualified candidate will have an expert knowledge of ServiceNow (including significant experience deploying ServiceNow across large and complex organizations) along with a holistic understanding of information technology and commercial solutions; and significant experience architecting and developing technical solutions

The preferred candidate will have excellent communications skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience serving as an advisor to federal CIOs and senior IT managers. The candidate will have experience serving as an escalation point for technical issues.



  • Participating as a senior member of the program team supporting our client
  • Serve as the technical expert for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Lead and organize ServiceNow development and deployment teams.
  • Develop high level, and possibly implement, ServiceNow solutions for complex customers problems
  • Responding to technical questions and research requests from the supported customers
  • Develop, maintain, and improve ServiceNow development processes and documentation.
  • Providing advice and support for systems development and engineering projects


  • Candidates must be a US Citizen able to pass a government level background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to deliver superior solutions to our client.
  • Should have experience working in a fast paced Agile Environment, with the ability to manage and proactively take on work and deliver results.
  • Candidates should have a BA/BS with fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience and possess the following:
    • Expert knowledge of ServiceNow including ITSM and ITOM.
    • Strong experience deploying ServiceNow for large and complex organizations/enterprises
    • Solution architecture experience
    • Strong experience integrating ServiceNow across a wide range of external systems
    • Experience developing lifecycle cost estimates for technical solutions
    • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
    • Customer service orientation

Desired:  This is a senior level technical resource and the following skills set will be useful:

  • Experience in architecting and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience with implementing and developing solutions leveraging commercial-off-the-shelf products.
  • Experience in building and presenting proto-type solutions.
  • Experience with designing and developing data models and data architecture.
  • Experience integrating Cloud and on premise software systems.
