Overview

Enterprise Information Services, LLC, a Cognosante Company, is seeking a solution architect in support of a large modernization effort at a Federal Agency to bring legacy, high priority IT systems up to current and supported operating levels while also addressing critical needs for high availability, fail-over capability, decoupling of highly connected systems, and/or cloud-based solution implementations. The Solutions Architect assist with a variety of related initiatives and tasks related to federal budgeting, acquisitions, or financials. Expertise should span the breadth of products in the market, implementation (how the products are used in a production setting), related government policy and guidance, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise architecture expertise and significant technology and domain expertise to translate the enterprise's strategy for legacy system upgrade/migration to the desired future state including development of a modernization roadmap.
  • Provide functional expertise within an R12 Oracle federal financials environment.
  • Demonstrate functional knowledge of Oracle R12 Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Acquire to Retire (A2R), and Order to Cash (O2C)
  • Conducting fit/gap/manual analysis.
  • Creating functional specifications for Report, Interface, Conversion, Extension, and Workflow (RICEW objects).
  • Defining master data needs and assisting with master data conversion and loading.
  • Participating in defect resolution and management. ‚Äč

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen able to pass a government level background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to deliver superior solutions to our client.
  • Should have experience working in a fast-paced Agile Environment, with the ability to manage and proactively take on work and deliver results.
  • Candidates should have a BA/BS with fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience and possess the following:
    • Experience with Oracle Applications development utilizing PL/SQL
    • Demonstrated technical knowledge of Oracle R12 Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Acquire to Retire (A2R), and Order to Cash (O2C)
    • Development experience of Oracle Forms, Reports and Interfaces Conducting fit/gap/manual analysis
    • Creating technical specifications for Report, Interface, Conversion, Extension, and Workflow (RICEW objects)
    • Defining master data needs and assisting with master data conversion and loading
    • Participating in defect resolution and management

Desired

  • This is a senior level technical resource and the following skills set will be useful:
  • Experience in architecting and delivering enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience with implementing and developing solutions leveraging commercial-off-the-shelf products.
  • Experience in building and presenting proto-type solutions.
  • Experience with designing and developing data models and data architecture.
  • Experience integrating Cloud and on premise software systems.
